Subaru redesigned the 2019 model using SGP (Subaru Global Platform) also underpinning the Crosstrek, Impreza and Ascent. Subaru Forester has more cargo and passenger room, a little more powerful engine, latest Sport model, and the Eye Sight package of driver help technology is now standard.

Trim Levels

The Subaru Forester is situated above the smaller Crosstrek and under the more luxurious Outback and the new 3row Ascent.

Base Forester: Subaru Forester’s comes standard with the EyeSight pack of driver assist technology, SI-Drive automatic start/stop, automatic LED headlights, a rearview camera, automatic climate control, and a 6.5-inch infotainment touch display, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, SiriusXM satellite radio, and two USB ports.

Forester Premium: The Premium trim adds seventeen-inch alloy wheels, X-Mode off-road mode with mount descent control, roof rails, a panoramic moonroof, a 10-way power driver’s seat, a rear spoiler, Starlink Safety, and Security, reclining rear seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and rear A/C vents.

Forester Sport: The Forester Sport exhibits a bold sleek interior and design for a sophisticated feel inside the container. The external of the Sport has eighteen-inch wheels and LED fog lights. Inside the new Forester Sport, the sport upholstery is a two-toned gray with orange contrast stitching. For more control over the vehicle’s performance, the Sport trim level has paddle shifters as-well. 

Forester Limited: Premium Limited adds leather-trimmed upholstery, chrome grille accents and exhaust tip, dual-zone auto climate control, steering-responsive headlights with high-beam assist, a power lift gate, rear-cross traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring with lane change assist and an 8 inch infotainment touch display.

Forester Touring: Top Touring trim comes fine-equipped with exclusive eighteen-inch alloy wheels, integrated tie-downs and roof rails with silver accents, auto reverse tilt side mirrors, satin silver side mirror caps, a heated steering wheel, chrome door handles, an eight-way passenger’s seat, heated rear seats, a navigation system and Travel Link, a driver monitoring system, reverse automatic braking, a 9-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and single-touch folding rear seats.

With more powerful turbo 4 model, this will be powered by a one power train, a 182-horsepower, 176 lb-ft 2.5-liter F-4 engine powered by a CVT.
